Hello, Soaring Souls!
I am Marie of Soaring Soul Wellness.
My yoga journey began in 2014, for managing stress and improving flexibility. While deepening my own practice and understanding, I became inspired to share the beauty of yoga with others; through connection of mind, body, and spirit in loving curiosity, acceptance, and gratitude.
I began teaching in 2022, the learning journey continues. Witnessing personal & collective growth through community inspired Soaring Soul Wellness, in 2024, to expand into a collective. We are a collective of wellness leaders, beginner yogis, and everyone in between and beyond. If you are here reading, and have the desire to grow and heal in community, you are officially invited. Join us at the next event or reach out directly.

It’s wonderful to connect with you! You may call me Cole (she/her).
With a start in Cosmetology in 2004, I have had more than two full & happy decades of loving the energy exchange with clients as a licensed managerial cosmetologist; esthetician, nail technician, and massage therapist. Interactions with my clients are always magical & naturally have always promoted inner beauty and growth.
My deep dive into wellness, superfoods and nutrition began in 2016 when I became a full-time caregiver following my best friend’s ALS diagnosis. In early 2017, I embarked on a 200-hour Ashtanga yoga training, learning under the Krishnamacharya lineage. This training equipped me to safely lead Ashtanga and Vinyasa classes, emphasizing modifications to suit all levels and body types.
In 2018, as I supported my friend through hospice, I explored Reiki therapy, inspired by a Death Doula. That same year, I earned certifications in Tarot, astral traveling, and aromatherapy. After losing my friend in November 2018, I launched a superfoods company to continue the legacy of care we shared.
From 2018 to the present, I’ve completed various training programs:
“75-hour- Rocket- Systems 1, 2 and 3” -Rocket Yoga Academy; “300-hour RYT – Online Yoga Training Curriculum”- Cloud Nine Yoga Schools; “Busy Being Kids”-Emily Hunt; “The Biology of Trauma”- True Freedom Yoga & “Level 1 Applied Astrology”- Debra Silverman Astrology-
Since 2020, I have completed Usui Reiki Natural System of Healing- Shodon I, Okuden II, & Shinpiden III- have been participating in numerous workshops with Frans Stiene of International House of Reiki- including Reiki “Plays” & “Shares” in person & virtually.
I’ve also had so much fun working and volunteering at many wellness festivals- participating in a wide range of ways & teaching various self-care styles & volunteering whenever I can 🙂
Looking forward to Shining with YOU ALL! ~ with LOVE, Cole

My yoga practice began 13 years ago with a prenatal class. The more I learned about the practice of yoga, the more I realized I had been living the lifestyle for years. Wishing to be conscientious in my choices, peaceful in my actions and let kindness come from within, I found a home in yoga.
Studying with Amber Gean of Yoga Ah allowed that to happen. Her Modified Primary Ashtanga training built a strong foundation for my practice and an understanding of self. I continued to train with her, specializing in Rocket Vinyasa, an invigorating and life changing practice. As time has passed, I have found my passion within the Rocket and the special time in a woman’s life that pregnancy offers. I feel blessed to be involved in someone’s journey through these practices. Kids yoga started as a fun activity at home with my son and has turned into an everyday treat with any child I meet. As my quest for knowledge and understanding continued, I took a 300 hour training with Matt at You Do Yoga. Studying Yin Yoga, Tao Yoga, different styles of meditation and amazing anatomy broadened my understanding and desire to teach functionally. Each class I teach is tailored to who is there and what they need at that moment, any age, ability, place in life is welcomed and honored.
My home practice today varies greatly from when it started. Finding what I need each day and being able to explore and experiment has been an incredible journey. Everyday is a new lesson, the way yoga sweeps you up into a whole new life is almost indescribable. Listening to my body has truly allowed me to connect with my heart. Feeling that connection has let me move toward the future on a path I didn’t know was there. I am truly grateful for this life I have been given.
I believe in peace. Peace in the mind, the spirit, the body and the world all around us. What can we do within to contribute to world peace? How can we make our insides and outsides match in a way that fills us with happiness? Live the life you love. Everyday. On the mat and off. Roll with the punches, take deep breaths and keep moving forward. Be gentle and honor yourself. These things I have come to know as truth.
